Vietnamese singer Tang Nhat Tue has been arrested in connection with a drug investigation in Ho Chi Minh

Vietnamese singer Long Nhat, aged 59, is under legal scrutiny as authorities have proposed his prosecution along with accomplice Xuan Duy for drug-related offenses. According to the investigation conclusion by the Ho Chi Minh City Police, Long Nhat was involved in two instances of drug use at his apartment, as well as possessing 0.6 grams of narcotics from a previous occasion.
The investigation report indicates that on March 23, Long Nhat contacted his driver, Kieu Quoc Nha, to assist him with errands. Later that evening, he requested Nha to procure methamphetamine. Upon returning to his Tan Tao apartment, Nha provided Long Nhat with a packet of drugs he had on him.
Evidence shows that Long Nhat, along with accomplices Nguyen Minh Nhat and Do Dinh Giang, used drugs in the singer's bedroom on two occasions. The first instance occurred on March 23, when Long Nhat handed drugs to Giang, who prepared them for use. Shortly after, Nhat arrived with drug paraphernalia and proceeded to use the substances.
On March 26, Long Nhat invited a person named Duc, whose background remains unclear, to his apartment for a massage. Duc allegedly brought additional methamphetamine, which he sold to Long Nhat for one million dong. Following the massage, Long Nhat and his associates used the drugs in the singer's bedroom.
On March 28, the Ho Chi Minh City Drug Crime Investigation Police, in collaboration with local authorities, noticed suspicious behavior from Long Nhat and a companion, prompting them to bring the singer in for questioning. Subsequent drug tests confirmed the singer's positive result for narcotics.
Later that day, police searched Giang's accommodation at a nearby hotel and discovered 0.6 grams of drugs hidden in his room. The investigation concluded that this quantity was previously supplied by Long Nhat for safekeeping.
