A tragic accident occurred on September 28 in Hương Khê, Ha Tinh, when a crane struck a village gate, causing it to collapse and injure a young boy. The local authorities reported that the incident took place around 2 PM as the crane was passing through the village gate in Hương Phong commune.

At that moment, a woman riding a motorcycle with her third-grade son, Nguyễn Đức T., was passing by. The gate fell, crushing both the mother and son as well as their motorcycle. Local residents and authorities quickly rushed to assist the victims.

Unfortunately, the boy sustained severe injuries, resulting in the loss of one arm, and was immediately transported to Ha Tinh Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment. His mother suffered minor injuries.

The crane involved in the accident is reportedly owned by a transportation company operating in the Hương Khê area. Investigations are currently underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
