A tragic car accident occurred in Hai Phong on September 6, when a Kia Morning carrying five people veered off the road and fell into a water ditch in the Câu Thương village, An Quang commune. The driver, 68-year-old Đào Mạnh Lập, and his wife, 67-year-old Ngô Thị Trong, both from Cổ Am commune, lost their lives in the incident. Three men seated in the back of the vehicle survived but sustained injuries.
