On Saturday, July 25, Vietnam is facing extremely high temperatures, with many areas experiencing a heat index around 33°C. The heatwave warning is particularly severe in the southern coastal regions of North Gyeongsang, where the temperature could exceed 38°C.

The morning low temperatures are expected to range from 22°C to 27°C across various cities, including Seoul and Busan. By midday, highs are predicted to reach between 29°C and 37°C, with cities like Daegu and Jeonju seeing temperatures as high as 37°C.

Most of the country is under a heat warning, with the heat index remaining around 33°C. Some areas in southern Gyeonggi, eastern Gangwon, Chungnam, Jeolla, Gyeongsang, and Jeju could see temperatures around 35°C. Overall, temperatures are expected to be similar to or slightly above the seasonal averages.

Rain is forecasted for the capital region and Gangwon, with many areas experiencing brief showers throughout the day. The expected rainfall varies, with northern Gyeonggi and the western islands receiving between 20-60mm, while Seoul, Incheon, and southern Gyeonggi may see 5-40mm. The southern inland regions of Gangwon are also expected to receive similar amounts of rain.

In Gwangju, the daytime high is projected to reach 36°C, continuing the trend of hot weather. Morning lows in the region will range from 25°C to 26°C, with daytime highs between 32°C and 35°C.

As the heatwave persists, residents are advised to take precautions against heat-related illnesses and stay hydrated.
