Weather Forecast: Northern Vietnam to Experience Rain and Cooling
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts widespread rain and thunderstorms in

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has announced that Northern Vietnam will see a significant increase in temperatures starting June 24, after a temporary decrease in heat on June 22. On this day, the region experienced scattered rain, particularly in Hanoi, which helped to lower temperatures slightly.
On June 22, the heat was particularly intense in the northern plains and midlands, with temperatures reaching as high as 38.5 degrees Celsius in some areas like Son Hoa in Dak Lak. The forecast indicates that temperatures will rise again, with expected highs of 36 to 39 degrees Celsius across the northern region by June 24. Some areas may even exceed 39 degrees Celsius.
As the heat returns, the National Center has warned that the peak of this heatwave will occur around June 24, followed by a shift in weather patterns that will bring rain and thunderstorms starting June 25. This shift is attributed to a low-pressure trough moving down from the northern mountainous areas, which will help alleviate the heat by June 26.
In Central Vietnam, the heat will continue to persist, with temperatures in some areas reaching as high as 40 degrees Celsius. The regions from Thanh Hoa to Quang Tri are expected to experience particularly severe heat, with temperatures commonly hitting 37 to 39 degrees Celsius, and some locations exceeding 39 degrees Celsius.
As the weather fluctuates, residents are advised to stay informed about the changing conditions and take necessary precautions against the heat and potential storms.
