Ichigo's New Blood Chains Bankai Form Revealed in BLEACH

In an exciting development for fans of the anime series, BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) has unveiled Ichigo Kurosaki's new Blood Chains Bankai form. This reveal comes as part of the fourth and final cour of the series, subtitled "The Calamity," which premiered on July 25, 2026. The final arc is set to consist of 10 episodes, each promising to deliver intense action and character evolution.

During the recent episode, viewers were treated to not only Ichigo's new abilities but also the Bankai reveals of other beloved characters, including Zaraki and Toshiro. The episode featured Yuki Kaji joining the voice cast, portraying an older version of Toshiro, which adds a fresh dynamic to the series.

Additionally, a special visual highlighting Ichigo's new form has been released, further exciting the fanbase. Created by Tite Kubo, the BLEACH manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016, concluding with a total of 74 volumes. The series has achieved remarkable success, with over 130 million copies sold globally, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time.

The original anime adaptation aired from 2004 to 2012 and included four theatrical films. After a long hiatus, the franchise made a comeback in 2022 with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, which adapts the manga's final arc. Tite Kubo has confirmed that the concluding part of the anime will feature even more original content than the previous installments, enriching the narrative of the final battles.

In related news, BLEACH: Mirrors High has also released a new trailer, showcasing its protagonists along with original character designs by Tite Kubo, further expanding the BLEACH universe.
