The Masked Singer Vietnam Returns After Three-Year Hiatus

The Masked Singer Vietnam, a beloved music competition show, is making its comeback after a three-year hiatus. The producers officially announced the show's return on September 17, 2026, unveiling the promotional poster and confirming the premiere date for the first episode, which is scheduled for October 3, 2026.

This marks the third season of The Masked Singer Vietnam, following two successful previous seasons that garnered significant public attention. While details about the host and guest performers have yet to be revealed, the show promises to feature a mix of established artists and emerging talents, appealing particularly to younger audiences.

The unique format of the show involves contestants performing while wearing elaborate costumes and masks, adding an element of mystery and excitement as viewers try to guess their identities. The first season included a diverse lineup of singers such as Ha Tran, Thuy Chi, Uyen Linh, and many others, while Anh Tu emerged as the champion of the second season that aired in 2023.

In the second season, Anh Tu, performing as Voi Ban Don, won the competition with 45.4% of the audience votes, while Orange, competing as Ong Bay Bi, finished as the runner-up with 30.3%. The third-place contestant, Huong Lan, known as Cu Tay Bac, received 24.3% of the votes. Anh Tu's victory was widely praised for his compelling performances and musical diversity throughout the four-month competition.

After receiving the golden trophy, Anh Tu expressed his gratitude, stating that this was his first major win in a music competition after many years in the industry. He reflected on the journey as a significant milestone in his singing career, acknowledging the support and encouragement from fans that boosted his confidence during the show.

Previously known as the runner-up of The Voice Vietnam in 2017, Anh Tu gained further recognition after participating in Rap Viet in 2020. His hit song, "Is Your Life Okay?" has amassed over 180 million views since its release five years ago and has contributed to his rising popularity in the music scene. In recent years, he has been in high demand, performing at various stages and television programs.
