On July 8, Can Tho University announced the admission scores for its regular university programs for the 2026 academic year. The scores vary across more than 120 majors, ranging from a minimum of 15 points to a maximum of 22.75 points.
The highest admission score of 22.75 points is for the Computer Engineering major, specifically in the area of semiconductor design. Additionally, candidates must meet the requirement of being in the top 20% of students nationwide in mathematics, with official updates to be provided by the Ministry of Education and Training.
The admission scores are determined on a scale of 30 points, applicable to each admission code. Scores are standardized across different subject combinations, and there is no distinction based on the order of preferences indicated by candidates.
The threshold applies to various admission methods, including scores from the high school graduation exam in 2026, high school transcripts, and V-SAT scores (with V-SAT scores converted to be equivalent to the high school graduation exam scores).
Applicants must have graduated from high school (or an equivalent) by 2026 and achieve a total score of at least 15 points in three subjects from the high school graduation exam according to the chosen admission combination.
