Minimum Admission Score for Social Sciences University Announced
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities has set the minimum admission score for 2026 at 19 points.

The University of Foreign Trade (FTU) has established its admission scores for the academic year, with the highest score set at 24 out of 30 for the A00 subject combination, which includes Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Other subject combinations, such as A01 (Mathematics, Physics, English) and various D combinations, have a threshold of 23. This announcement was made on July 3.
The admission scores are applicable for candidates applying through different methods, including independent assessment based on high school graduation exam scores, academic records, or a combination with language proficiency certificates. The 24/30 score is specifically for the A00 combination, while the other combinations maintain the 23 score, consistent with the previous year.
FTU is set to enroll over 4,500 students through four admission methods: direct admission, academic record assessment for specialized students or those who have won provincial awards, using graduation exam scores, and evaluating domestic (HSA, TSA, V-ACT) and international (SAT, ACT, A-Level) competency certificates. This year, the university is introducing ten new programs and enhancing three existing ones, including Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Financial Technology, which focus on innovation in economics and business.
The tuition fees for the 2026 academic year will range from 28 to 88 million VND, reflecting a 2-5 million VND increase from the previous year. Starting from July 2, candidates can begin registering and adjusting their admission preferences through the Ministry's system, with the registration period extending until 5 PM on July 14. Before registering, candidates are encouraged to visit the VnExpress university search page to view trends in admission scores by program, institution, and tuition fees. The official admission scores will be announced after 5 PM on August 9.
