Phạm Nhật Quân Anh Takes Over as CEO of VinFast Global
Phạm Nhật Quân Anh has been appointed as the new CEO of VinFast Global, succeeding billionaire Phạm Nhật

Phạm Nhật Quân Anh, the son of Phạm Nhật Vượng, has recently assumed the position of Chairman and CEO of VinFast Vietnam. Under his leadership, the company has raised an impressive 25 trillion Vietnamese Dong (approximately $1 billion), increasing its charter capital from over 10.183 trillion Dong to more than 35.183 trillion Dong.
This capital increase was officially recorded on September 29, 2026, and is part of a broader restructuring strategy for VinFast. The newly established VinFast Vietnam, which was formed on June 19, 2026, is a legal entity linked to the transfer of manufacturing operations from VinFast in Vietnam.
In the new capital structure, private capital accounts for 98.472%, while foreign investment represents 1.528%. The only foreign shareholder is VinFast Auto Ltd. from Singapore, which holds over 53.75 million ordinary shares valued at more than 537.5 billion Dong, a significant decrease from nearly 5.28% ownership prior to the capital increase.
The restructuring involves separating certain assets from VinFast Manufacturing and Trading Joint Stock Company (VFTP) into the new entity. VinFast has divested entirely from VFTP, transferring the manufacturing segment in Vietnam to a third-party partner. This move allows VinFast to focus on its core areas, including brand development, product research and development, and technology.
The transfer of VFTP was led by a group of investors headed by Future Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, with Phạm Nhật Vượng participating as a minority investor. VinFast Vietnam will also oversee global research and development (R&D) activities, after-sales services, and sales operations, along with shares in three companies: VinFast Commercial & Services Trading LLC, VinFast Engineering Australia Pty Ltd, and VinFast Germany GmbH.
