A tragic incident unfolded on September 27, 2026, when a 9th-grade student fell from the fifth floor of a hotel in Hue, resulting in his death. The student, Nguyen Minh Q, was participating in an experiential learning program organized by Albert Einstein School in Ha Tinh.

The school had arranged for 178 students from the 9th grade to experience educational activities in Hue from September 25 to September 27. On the night of the incident, around 3:00 AM, while the students were asleep, Nguyen Minh Q fell from the hotel where they were staying on Tran Cao Van Street, leading to his untimely death.

Nguyen Gia Viet, the principal of Albert Einstein School, confirmed the incident and stated that the school had reported the matter to the Ha Tinh Department of Education and Training. In response to the tragedy, the school has provided initial financial support to the family and sent staff to assist with the funeral arrangements.

The school administration quickly formed a task force to travel to Hue on the morning of September 27 to coordinate with local authorities and investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. The remaining students were returned to Ha Tinh later that day.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fall to clarify the details of this unfortunate event.
