Hue Citadel

Hue Citadel is considered the old royal residence of the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam. This is considered a unique and ancient architectural work that you definitely cannot ignore when coming to Hue. Hue Citadel is a relic cluster consisting of Hoang Thanh (where the king established the reign and worked) and the Forbidden City (the living place of the king and the royal family).

The Imperial Citadel of Hue is the second citadel within the Hue Citadel, with the function of protecting the most important palaces of the court, the shrines of Nguyen ancestors and the Forbidden City – a place reserved for the king and the king. family. The Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden City were commonly referred to as the Dai Noi Citadel.

Thien Mu Pagoda

Thien Mu Pagoda, also known as Linh Mu Pagoda, is considered the most ancient temple in Hue, about 5km west of the city center, located on Nguyen Phuc Nguyen Street, Hue City, Thua Thien Hue Province.

Thien Mu pagoda was officially founded in Tan Suu year (1601), the reign of Lord Tien Nguyen Hoang – the first Nguyen lord in Dang Trong.

Thien Mu Pagoda is an ancient and ancient temple in Hue.

The main feature associated with the pagoda is Phuoc Duyen tower 21 m high, consisting of 7 floors, built in front of the pagoda in 1844. Each floor has worship Buddha statue. Inside, there is a spiral staircase leading to the top floor, where previously there was a golden Buddha statue.

In front of the tower is Huong Nguyen communal house, on top of which is the Dharma wheel (Buddha Dharma wheel, Buddhist symbol.

Phuoc Duyen Tower is a 21m high tower with 7 floors built with unique architecture in the campus of Thien Mu Pagoda.

Lim wooden bridge – Walking street on Huong river

The iron-wood-lined pedestrian bridge on the Huong River was built by the People’s Committee of Hue City, Thua Thien Hue Province on the southern bank of the Huong River since February 2018 with a total cost of 64 billion VND. The bridge was inaugurated after more than 8 months of construction with a length of over 380 m and width of 4 m.

This is a pilot project in the detailed planning project of two banks of the Perfume River, with a budget of 6 million USD funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

Coming to Lim wooden bridge, visitors can take a walk to see the beauty of the romantic Perfume River at dawn or watch the sunset on the Perfume River.

In the evening, visitors can also feel the coolness and romance on the Perfume River with many different activities such as listening to music, walking, taking pictures, watching the dragon boat, watching the Perfume River, Truong Tien Bridge …

Tombs of King Nguyen

The Tombs of King Nguyen are built for a long time with massive and ancient architecture, giving visitors the truest glimpse of the history of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Ru Cha Forest

Ru Cha forest, also known as primary mangrove forest, belongs to Thuan Hoa village, Huong Phong commune, Huong Tra town, Thua Thien Hue. About 15km from Hue city to the East (towards Thuan An beach).

Coming to the Ru Cha mangrove forest in Hue, the most eye-catching thing is the green color of plants. The bright green color of the Cha tree covers immensely on the lagoon surface with an area of ​​about 5 ha. A cool green color is very stimulating in the summer, allowing visitors to come here to immerse themselves in the refreshing, freshest and most relaxing feeling.

The forest is about 5ha wide with cluster of trees forming the beautiful trails of Tam Giang Lagoon.
