On September 7, the People's Committee of Viet Hung Ward in Quang Ninh City issued a document requesting the school to urgently verify and clarify the situation regarding the vehicle parked at the school during the ceremony. The car, identified as a white vehicle with license plate number 14A-506.xx, was seen next to students in uniform standing in formation for the flag-raising ceremony.

The presence of the car during such a significant event was criticized for detracting from the solemnity of the gathering. The local authorities have asked the school to investigate the timing, location, and circumstances of the incident, as well as to identify the individuals involved.

Furthermore, the authorities emphasized the need for the school to clarify whether parking in that area aligns with school regulations and to ensure the safety and decorum of school activities. The People's Committee also requested accountability from those responsible. If violations or shortcomings are confirmed, the principal must conduct a serious review, determine responsibility, and take appropriate corrective actions.

In a statement to Thanh Nien reporters, the leadership of Ly Thuong Kiet Primary School confirmed that the vehicle in question belongs to Tran Thi Thu, the deputy principal in charge of the school's third facility. The school is currently following the review process as directed by the local authorities. The school leadership acknowledged that the parking of the vehicle during a student assembly was inappropriate and could impact the school's image and safety.
