THACO AUTO, founded by billionaire Trần Bá Dương, has introduced a new electric van model named THACO TOWNER E. This vehicle is tailored for urban logistics and delivery, boasting a payload capacity of 945 kilograms and the ability to travel approximately 300 kilometers on a full charge.

The THACO TOWNER E is powered by a 41.86 kWh CATL battery, which supports fast charging technology via a CCS2 port. At charging stations with a power output of 90kW or more, the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in just about 18 minutes, significantly reducing downtime for delivery services.

In addition to rapid charging capabilities, the THACO TOWNER E comes with a 7kW mobile charger, allowing users to charge the vehicle at warehouses or locations with suitable power sources. To celebrate the launch, THACO AUTO is offering an incentive program for customers purchasing the THACO TOWNER E, which includes a complimentary mobile charger and ten free charging sessions each month during the first year of ownership. This offer is valid for customers who complete their contracts and invoices by December 31, 2026.

The introduction of the THACO TOWNER E expands THACO AUTO's range of vehicles, particularly in the urban delivery segment.
