HCMC – HEINEKEN Vietnam has been named among the Top 2 Most Sustainable Companies in the manufacturing sector in Vietnam at the Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) Ranking Ceremony 2022.
This milestone marks the seventh consecutive year HEINEKEN Vietnam has been listed among the Top 3 in this national ranking. In addition, this year HEINEKEN Vietnam is also recognized as the Best Company in Implementing the Circular Economy at the ceremony, which was co-held by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development in Hanoi City on December 1.
The CSI Ranking Award Ceremony is a prestigious annual event honoring the Top 100 Most Sustainable Companies in Vietnam.
In 2022, the award categories were expanded to additionally highlight companies with top achievements in promoting the circular economy model, and responding to climate change; businesses with excellent practices in promoting women’s empowerment and gender equality in the workplace; and companies with responsibility for human and children’s rights.
“Being ranked Top 2 Most Sustainable Companies in Vietnam, and recognized as the Best Company in Implementing Circular Economy, is a great honor for HEINEKEN Vietnam,” said Holly Bostock, Corporate Affairs Director of HEINEKEN Vietnam.
“Sustainability is in HEINEKEN Vietnam’s DNA, and we have been embedding environmental and social sustainability in our business and value chain from the very first days. Together with the Government and the business community, HEINEKEN Vietnam will always strive to pursue ambitious sustainable goals, to brew a better Vietnam and be a little bit greener every day.”
This year’s CSI Ranking Awards have recognized HEINEKEN Vietnam’s commitment to “Brewing a Better Vietnam” throughout 2022.
“This year’s Top 2 Most Sustainable Company award is a recognition of HEINEKEN Vietnam’s commitment to sustainability. We also highly appreciate HEINEKEN Vietnam’s efforts to implement circular economy in all of its activities, and to inspire the business community with greener governance and practices,” said Nguyen Quang Vinh, Vice President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and President of the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development.
