On August 7, 2026, shares of Vinamilk (Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company) saw a remarkable increase, with prices hitting a ceiling of 63,100 VND per share, representing a nearly 7% rise. The trading volume also surged, with nearly 9.9 million shares changing hands within just over an hour of trading, significantly higher than recent sessions.
This uptick in share price brings Vinamilk to its highest level in the past three months. Since early July, when the stock was around 55,000 VND per share, it has appreciated by approximately 15%. The positive momentum in Vinamilk's stock is attributed to the company's improving business performance.
In the second quarter of 2026, Vinamilk reported revenue of approximately 18.856 trillion VND, which is a 12.5% increase compared to the same period last year. The company's net profit reached 3.184 trillion VND, reflecting a substantial 28% growth. For the first half of the year, total revenue amounted to about 35.034 trillion VND, up 17.7%, while net profit after tax soared by 38.4% year-on-year, totaling 5.643 trillion VND.
The growth is primarily driven by a recovery in the domestic market, increased export activities, and a stronger contribution from its subsidiaries. As Vinamilk continues to enhance its market position, investors are keenly observing its stock performance amid these positive developments.
