Graybar, a leading distributor of electrical, industrial, automation, and connectivity products, has reported remarkable financial results for the second quarter of 2026. The company achieved net sales of $3.8 billion, reflecting an 11.8% increase compared to the same period last year. Additionally, Graybar's net income reached $158.6 million, marking a 14.8% rise over the prior year.
This quarter's results set a new record for both net sales and net income in Graybar's history. For the first half of 2026, the company reported net sales of $7.1 billion, which is a 12.1% increase from the same six-month period last year. The net income for the first six months was $300.5 million, representing a significant 25.7% increase compared to the previous year.
Kathleen M. Mazzarella, chairman, president, and CEO of Graybar, attributed these record results to the dedication of the company’s employees and their commitment to providing the best customer experience in the industry. She stated, "These results also demonstrate the strength of our long-term strategy and the disciplined execution of key priorities across our business. Some highlights from Graybar's second quarter of 2026 include the acquisition of American Electric Supply, which enhances Graybar's presence in Southern California. This acquisition marks the second for Graybar in 2026. The company also announced several senior leadership appointments effective July 1, including David Bender as Senior Vice President - North American Subsidiaries, Brian Delaney as Senior Vice President and General Manager, and Richard Harvey as Regional Vice President.
Furthermore, Graybar recognized district leadership changes, with Regis Ganley appointed as District Vice President for the Southwest District and Scott Kennedy as District Vice President in New York. Graybar has also been recognized for the third consecutive year as a 2026 US Best Managed Company by Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal, and has been named a 2026 Top Workplaces USA award winner by Energage and USA Today for the sixth consecutive year.
