VinFast, a prominent Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, has launched its latest premium electric scooter, the Kinet, in Ho Chi Minh City. This new model is priced between 40 million and 49.9 million VND, making it the most expensive in VinFast's lineup. With a range of 145 km on a full charge, the Kinet is designed to compete with popular gasoline scooters such as Honda's Air Blade and Vario.

The Kinet features a sleek design with dimensions slightly larger than its predecessor, the Viper, measuring 2,021 mm in length, 713 mm in width, and 1,135 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,360 mm. It boasts a powerful in-hub motor with a maximum output of 5,200 W, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 6 seconds. This performance is particularly appealing to urban commuters looking for a quick and efficient ride.

In terms of features, the Kinet is equipped with a large TFT display that shows speed, battery level, and driving modes. It also includes a USB charging port and smart key access. The scooter's seat height is approximately 785 mm, making it accessible for most adult riders in Vietnam. Additionally, the Kinet offers a spacious storage compartment of 22 liters, which is double that of the Viper, enhancing its practicality.

The Kinet's design includes LED headlights and a sporty aesthetic, appealing to a younger demographic. Users can charge the batteries at home or swap them at VinFast's public charging stations. The rental price for a battery is set at 175,000 VND per month for one battery and 300,000 VND for two batteries, with a swapping fee of 9,000 VND per battery.
