HCMC – Vietnamese automaker VinFast will start handing over the first VF8 City Edition electric cars to customers in the United States tomorrow, March 1.

The handover ceremony will be held at VinFast’s auto showroom in California, marking the automaker’s operation expansion in the global market, the local media reported.

These cars are among 999 electric vehicles shipped to the United States in December last year.

Apart from the delivery, VinFast will constantly launch many test-driving programs in California to offer customers new and practical experiences.

Le Thi Thu Thuy, vice chairwoman of Vingroup and chairwoman of VinFast, said the presence of VinFast electric cars on streets in the United States in the coming days would mark a key milestone for the automaker to conquer the global market.

Besides, VinFast is set to deliver its cars to Canada, France, Germany and the Netherlands, according to the representative of VinFast.
