The highlight of the evening will be the competition to find the successor to the current Miss World, Opal Suchata. Contestants will participate in several elimination rounds to determine the final rankings for this season.

Vietnam’s representative, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, enters the final with several positive results from preliminary events. She secured a victory in the Top Model segment for the Asia-Oceania region, which granted her a direct spot in the Top 40. This achievement is a crucial advantage as she continues her journey in the competition.

In addition to her Top Model success, Bao Ngoc has also performed well in other categories, including reaching the Top 20 in the Head to Head Challenge, Top 23 in Talent, and Top 24 in Beauty With a Purpose. She was also part of a winning team in the Head Chef Beauty challenge, a new cooking segment introduced at Miss World.

While making it to the Top 40 keeps Bao Ngoc’s chances alive for the final, it does not guarantee her final ranking, as she must still navigate through the upcoming elimination rounds to aim for a high position in Miss World 2026.
