Linda Górecká, a 22-year-old representative from the Czech Republic, is capturing attention at the Miss World 2026 pageant held in Vietnam. With her striking features and radiant smile, she has emerged as a standout contestant.

On August 9, Linda attended a welcome party organized by the event in Ha Long, Quang Ninh, where she showcased her elegant attire. Her captivating photos, especially one where she wore a traditional Vietnamese conical hat, have gone viral on various beauty forums. Linda expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome she received and shared her excitement about the memorable experiences on her first day at the competition.

Originating from Dětmarovice, a village in the Moravian-Silesian region of the Czech Republic, Linda stands tall at 1.77 meters and is currently pursuing a modeling career. Her golden hair, sharp features, and well-proportioned physique have led many to liken her to a 'doll,' reminiscent of Krystyna Pyszková, who was crowned Miss World 2023.

In her Miss World profile, Linda expressed her aspirations to develop herself in the economic field while also showing a keen interest in fashion and social activities. She won the title of Miss Czech Republic 2025 by surpassing 19 other contestants, earning her the right to compete in the 73rd Miss World pageant.

Linda has brought a charitable project to the competition, focusing on supporting cancer patients, particularly women with breast cancer. Her message is clear: "No patient should suffer alone."

Prior to the pageant, Linda practiced her catwalk skills with experts and worked on her physique. Earlier this year, she visited Vietnam to acclimatize to the climate and culture, collaborating with designers, makeup artists, and photographers to create a series of fashion images.

As the Miss World 2026 competition approaches its opening night on August 12, beauty experts from platforms like Sash Factor and Parade Of Beauty have already included Linda in their lists of potential crown contenders.

The Miss World 2026 schedule spans nearly a month, featuring various activities and preliminary rounds across three provinces: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, and Khanh Hoa. The reigning Miss World, Opal Suchata from Thailand, will crown her successor on the final night in Nha Trang on September 5.

Founded in 1951, Miss World is one of the oldest and most prestigious beauty contests globally, alongside Miss Universe. The pageant celebrates global unity by seeking young women who embody beauty, intelligence, and meaningful community projects, adhering to the motto of 'Beauty with a Purpose.'
