The Cao Bang Meteorological and Hydrological Center has issued a warning regarding the development of severe thunderstorms affecting several localities in the province. Satellite images and weather radar data indicate the formation of convective clouds, which are expected to bring heavy rain and thunderstorms to various villages and urban areas within the districts of Dam Thuy, Dinh Phong, Nguyen Binh, Phan Thanh, Tam Kim, Thanh Cong, and Tinh Tuc.

These convective clouds are also moving from neighboring Thai Nguyen Province towards Cao Bang, contributing to the potential for severe weather conditions. The maximum radar reflectivity recorded is 50 dBZ, indicating strong precipitation.

The warning states that from now until the next few hours, these storm cells will continue to develop and move, causing heavy rain and thunderstorms in the aforementioned areas. The storm conditions may also extend to nearby villages and urban areas including Bach Dang, Be Van Dan, Doai Duong, Doc Lap, Duc Long, Ha Lang, Ha Quang, Hoa An, Lung Nam, Ly Quoc, Nam Tuan, Nguyen Hue, Nung Tri Cao, Thong Nong, Thuc Phan, Trung Khanh, Truong Ha, Vinh Quy, and surrounding communities.

During these thunderstorms, there is a risk of strong winds, lightning, hail, and potential damage to trees, buildings, transportation infrastructure, and other facilities, posing a danger to human life.

The disaster risk level due to storms, lightning, and hail has been classified as Level 1. Authorities and residents are urged to monitor the situation closely and take necessary precautions.
