Re-examination for Tuyen Quang High School Students Announced

The Tuyen Quang provincial government has taken steps to organize a re-examination for 328 students who previously sat for the graduation exam at Tuyen Quang Specialized High School. This decision follows the annulment of their exam results due to violations of examination regulations.

Do Anh Tuan, the Deputy Chairman of the Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee, has been appointed as the head of the provincial steering committee for the re-examination. The committee is responsible for ensuring that the re-examination is conducted safely, strictly, and fairly, adhering to the guidelines set by the Ministry of Education and Training.

The re-examination is scheduled for August 13 to 15, 2026, with the main examination days being August 14 and 15. Students will retake subjects including Mathematics and Literature on the first day, followed by elective subjects such as History, Geography, Chemistry, Biology, Foreign Languages, and others on the second day. The results of the re-examination will be announced by August 19.

In a recent statement, Huynh Van Chuong, the Director of the Department of Quality Management, emphasized that the re-examination aims to ensure safety and integrity rather than serve as a punitive measure against the students involved. The investigation has already led to the identification and prosecution of 29 individuals for their roles in the misconduct, with some facing temporary detention.

It is crucial for parents and students to understand that any interference in the examination process is not acceptable. The provincial government has urged transparency in the examination process and will provide timely updates regarding the examination schedule and regulations.

The Tuyen Quang Department of Education and Training is tasked with forming the examination council and ensuring that all necessary measures are taken to uphold the integrity of the examination process.
