On July 28, 2026, Hoang Van Kien was officially appointed as the new Director of the Department of Finance for Ninh Binh province. This announcement was made during a meeting organized by the Department of Finance, where the decision was presented by the provincial leaders.

The appointment comes under Decision No. 2789/QD-UBND, signed by the Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee. Kien, previously a Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, will serve in this new role for a term of five years, starting from the date of his appointment.
