Chairman of Dak Nong becomes Party Secretary of Dak Lak

Nguyen Hoai Anh, the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Province, has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Ethnic Affairs and Religions by the Prime Minister. This new role will take effect from July 19. At 49 years old, Nguyen Hoai Anh hails from Quang Nam and holds a bachelor's degree in English, is an architect, and has a master's degree in Public Administration.
Throughout his career, he has held various significant positions, including Deputy Secretary and then Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Secretary of the Tuy Phong District Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Internal Affairs Committee, Head of the Provincial Mass Mobilization Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Secretary of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee.
In July 2025, he was transferred to serve as Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee. Two months later, the Politburo assigned him as Deputy Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, where he was subsequently elected as the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
During the 14th Party Congress in January, he was elected as a member of the Central Committee. In March 2026, he was re-elected as Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the term 2026-2031.
The Ministry of Ethnic Affairs and Religions is a government agency responsible for managing state affairs related to ethnic groups, beliefs, and religions. The current leadership of the ministry includes Minister Nguyen Dinh Khang and five Deputy Ministers: Nguyen Hoai Anh (Deputy Minister), Y Vinh Tor, Y Thong, Nguyen Hai Trung, and Nong Thi Ha.
