New Deputy Head of Hanoi's Internal Affairs Committee Appointed
Nguyen Van Toan has been appointed as the Deputy Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Hanoi Party

Lieutenant General Dinh Van Noi, previously the Director of the Department of Internal Political Security, has officially taken on the role of Deputy Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee. The announcement was made during a conference held on July 14, 2026, by the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee.
At the conference, the committee disclosed Decision No. 219-QDNS/TW dated July 11, 2026, issued by the Central Party Committee regarding personnel changes. Dinh Van Noi, 50 years old and a member of the Central Public Security Party Committee, has been appointed to serve as the Deputy Secretary for the term 2025-2030 and will also hold the position of Secretary of the Phu Quoc Special Administrative Unit Party Committee.
Present at the meeting were notable figures including Nguyen Thanh Tam, a member of the Central Party Committee and Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission, and Nguyen Tien Hai, Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee.
Dinh Van Noi is originally from Can Tho and holds a doctorate in Security and Social Order. His previous roles include Deputy Director of the Can Tho Police Department since 2016 and later the Director of the An Giang Police Department in June 2020. In August 2022, he was transferred to serve as the Director of the Quang Ninh Police Department.
Throughout his career, Dinh Van Noi has made significant contributions to law enforcement, particularly in combating crime. As the Director of the An Giang Police, he oversaw the dismantling of major criminal operations, including a large illegal gambling ring and a smuggling network led by notorious figures. His efforts have resulted in the resolution of nearly 800 criminal cases during his two-year tenure in An Giang, contributing to the safety and security of the local community.
His tenure in Quang Ninh was also marked by significant achievements, including the crackdown on tax evasion and the illegal sale of invoices, which had serious implications for the national budget.
