The police department has recognized the proposal to award a medal to Deputy Director Kim Duy Cuong of Thanh Hoa Police. This proposal comes alongside the promotion of another officer, signaling a commitment to acknowledging the efforts of law enforcement personnel in maintaining public safety.
On July 13, the Dong Nai Police held a ceremony to announce personnel decisions made by the Director of the Dong Nai Police. During this event, it was revealed that Lieutenant Trang Minh Canh, previously the head of Hung Thinh Commune Police, has been reassigned to serve as the head of Trang Bom Ward Police starting from July 13, 2026.
Colonel Duong Van Manh, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Police, emphasized the importance of the new role, urging Lieutenant Canh to quickly familiarize himself with the area, leverage his capabilities, and uphold a strong sense of responsibility. He is expected to provide proactive advice to local authorities on maintaining political security and social order, ensuring the successful completion of all assigned tasks.
Upon receiving his reassignment, Lieutenant Canh expressed his commitment to learning and improving, dedicating himself to work alongside his colleagues to fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
Additionally, the Nghe An Police organized a ceremony to announce the Minister of Public Security's decision to promote Nguyen Van Hung, head of the Administrative Management Police Department, to the rank of Colonel. Colonel Nguyen Duc Cuong, Deputy Director of Nghe An Police, highlighted that this promotion is a significant honor and comes with increased responsibilities for leadership and command.
Furthermore, on July 17, Thanh Hoa Police announced their intent to seek state-level commendations. They have proposed that the Prime Minister award a certificate of merit for outstanding achievements during the "500 days and nights of collecting DNA samples for the families of unidentified martyrs in the province" campaign. They have also requested that the President award the Second Class Medal of National Defense to Colonel Kim Duy Cuong and the Third Class Medal to Colonel Nguyen Tien Dung, head of the provincial detention center.
