Three Officers Appointed as Deputy Directors in Lai Chau Police

In a significant personnel reshuffle within the police force, two colonels and one lieutenant colonel have been appointed to new roles in the Lai Chau provincial police. The appointments were officially announced on June 30, 2026, during a ceremony led by the provincial police director.

Colonel Hoang Trong Vy, previously the Deputy Director of the Tuyen Quang provincial police, has been appointed as the Deputy Director of the Lai Chau provincial police effective June 29, 2026. Additionally, Colonel Sung A Sua has been reappointed as Deputy Director of the Lai Chau provincial police starting June 5, 2026.

During the ceremony, Colonel Bui Quyet Toan, the Director of Lai Chau provincial police, congratulated the newly appointed officers and emphasized the importance of leveraging their experience and capabilities to achieve the set objectives in their respective roles.

Colonel Sung A Sua expressed his commitment to continuous learning and collaboration with the police leadership to enhance the effectiveness and professionalism of the Lai Chau police force.

In a related development, the Lâm Đồng provincial police also held a ceremony on June 30, where Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Thanh was appointed as the Superintendent of Detention Center No. 1, replacing Colonel Nguyen Song Hao, who has moved to lead the Drug Crime Investigation Department.

Colonel Tran Van Muoi, the Deputy Director of the Lâm Đồng provincial police, highlighted that these personnel changes are part of an ongoing strategy to strengthen the organizational structure and meet the evolving demands of law enforcement.

Both newly appointed officers pledged to uphold their responsibilities and work towards building a cohesive and efficient police unit.
