On June 26, 2026, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police organized a ceremony to announce several personnel decisions made by the Director of the Provincial Police. Colonel Kim Duy Cuong, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, led the ceremony, which was attended by leaders from various departments within the police force, as well as officers and soldiers from the Mobile Police Department and the Criminal Enforcement and Judicial Support Department.

During the ceremony, Colonel Kim Duy Cuong presented the decision to transfer Colonel Nguyen Van Chung, the former head of the Mobile Police Department, to the position of head of the Criminal Enforcement and Judicial Support Department. Additionally, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Long, previously the head of the Criminal Enforcement and Judicial Support Department, was appointed as the head of the Mobile Police Department.

In his remarks, Colonel Kim Duy Cuong acknowledged and praised the efforts, sense of responsibility, and contributions of both Colonel Nguyen Van Chung and Colonel Nguyen Thanh Long throughout their careers. He emphasized that both officers have grown from practical experience, possess strong political will, good moral character, leadership capabilities, and extensive experience in their respective fields.

The leadership of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police expressed confidence that in their new roles, Colonel Nguyen Van Chung and Colonel Nguyen Thanh Long would quickly adapt to their responsibilities, leverage their skills and experience, and work collaboratively with their teams to build a more professional, elite, and modern police force capable of successfully fulfilling their assigned duties.

In response to their new assignments, both Colonel Nguyen Van Chung and Colonel Nguyen Thanh Long expressed gratitude for the trust and support from the Party Committee and the leadership of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, as well as the assistance from their colleagues. They pledged to continue developing their moral character, uphold a strong sense of responsibility, overcome challenges, and unite with their teams to achieve excellence in their tasks, contributing to the overall success of the Thanh Hoa Police Force.
