From September 1, sunny weather will dominate the Northern and Central regions of Vietnam, with hot conditions expected across many areas. The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has indicated that the Northern region, including Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, will primarily experience sunny weather during this period.

In Hanoi, temperatures are forecasted to reach between 34 to 36 degrees Celsius, with some areas potentially exceeding 36 degrees Celsius. This heat is anticipated to ease slightly after September 2. The first day of the new school year on September 5 is also expected to remain dry and sunny, providing favorable conditions for students returning to school.

In the Central region, heavy rainfall is expected from Ha Tinh to Da Nang on the evening of August 31, with rainfall amounts ranging from 20 to 40 mm, and in some areas, exceeding 80 mm. However, this heavy rain is expected to subside by September 1, giving way to hot weather with temperatures soaring to between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius.

In the Southern regions, including Ho Chi Minh City, the weather on September 1 is predicted to be relatively pleasant, with sunshine in the morning followed by possible showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. The weather is expected to remain dry during the evening, coinciding with outdoor activities planned for National Day celebrations on September 2.

Meanwhile, a tropical depression near China's Hainan Island is moving towards the northern East Sea and may strengthen into a storm. This system is currently producing winds of up to 61 km/h and is expected to impact weather conditions in the northern waters shortly.

As the country prepares for these weather changes, residents are advised to stay informed and take necessary precautions, especially in areas expecting severe heat and potential storms.
