A tragic accident occurred on September 28 when a driving school car collided with a motorcycle on the Pleiku bypass in Gia Lai province, leading to the death of the motorcycle rider.

According to the Gia Lai Provincial Police, the incident took place around 11 AM. The driving school car, carrying a student driver identified as V.H.V. (born in 2001, residing in Dak Doa district), was traveling from Bau Can to Ia Grai. At the time of the accident, a teacher from the driving school was also present in the vehicle.

The motorcycle, operated by S.V. (born in 1984, from Phu Thien district), was coming from a coffee plantation and attempted to merge onto the bypass when the collision occurred. Witnesses reported that S.V. sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after.

The police have initiated an investigation into the accident, with the Traffic Police Department collaborating with the Criminal Investigation Office and the Technical Criminalistics Department of Gia Lai to determine the exact cause of the collision.

This incident highlights the ongoing concerns regarding road safety, particularly involving learner drivers. Authorities urge all road users to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations to prevent such tragedies in the future.
