Driving Student Causes Fatal Accident in Dak Lak

A tragic accident occurred in Dak Lak on September 17, when an 18-year-old driving student, Bùi Công Hiếu, lost control of his vehicle during a lesson. The incident took place around 10:50 AM on National Route 27, as Hiếu was driving a car from the Nam Viet Driving Training Center.

While heading towards National Route 26, Hiếu's vehicle unexpectedly crashed into the rear of a parked truck. The impact was severe, causing significant deformation to the driving school's car. The instructor, Phan Thanh Trúc, aged 33, who was seated in the passenger seat, became trapped in the wreckage.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and worked to free Trúc, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries before he could be rescued. Initial investigations suggest that the cause of the accident was Hiếu's failure to pay attention while driving. The estimated damage to property from the incident is around 40 million VND.

This incident has raised concerns about the safety measures in place for driving students and the importance of instructor vigilance during training sessions.
