Truck-Motorcycle Collision on Ho Chi Minh Road Claims One Life

A serious traffic accident took place on Ho Chi Minh Road, specifically in the area of Kien Duc commune, Lam Dong Province, resulting in the death of one individual. The incident occurred on July 2, 2026, around 9:30 AM, when a truck, registered under the license plate 47H-038.65 and driven by 31-year-old Hoang Thanh Toan from Dak Lak Province, was traveling in the direction from Dak Lak to Dong Nai.

As the truck reached Km1923+800, it collided with a motorcycle, bearing the license plate 76L-4038, which was being operated by 63-year-old Phan Tuan Sinh from Dong Nai Province. The impact of the collision caused severe injuries to Mr. Sinh, who was subsequently rushed to the Regional Medical Center in Dak R'Lap but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

Following the accident, local authorities promptly arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation and manage traffic flow. This tragic event is part of a concerning trend, as earlier on the same day, another accident on Ho Chi Minh Road in Nhan Co commune resulted in three fatalities, all of whom were riding the same motorcycle and were from Quang Ngai Province.

The police in Nhan Co, along with specialized units from the Lam Dong Provincial Police and the District Prosecutor's Office, are currently examining the scene and gathering evidence to determine the cause of the earlier incident.
