Hanoi Publishes List of Available Social Housing and Student Housing

Hanoi's Department of Construction has made public the latest statistics for August 2026 regarding social housing and student housing managed by the Hanoi Housing Management Center. This initiative aims to enhance transparency and assist residents in finding suitable accommodations.

In the social housing complex CT19A Viet Hung, designed to have 515 units, only 2 remain unoccupied as 513 have been rented out. Meanwhile, the My Dinh II student housing complex, which can accommodate 7,368 residents with 6 residents per apartment, currently has 3,089 vacant spots, with 4,279 already rented. Additionally, the Phap Van - Tu Hiep student housing area, designed for 5,520 residents with 8 residents per apartment, has 2,712 vacancies, as 2,808 spots are occupied.

It is important to note that the published figures for the Phap Van - Tu Hiep student housing do not include the A1 building and 156 units in the A5 building. This public disclosure is part of Hanoi's broader strategy to improve housing accessibility for its citizens.

In related news, starting from September 11, 2026, Hanoi will implement new traffic regulations at the Lang Ha - Giang Vo intersection to facilitate ongoing construction of an overpass. This adjustment aims to streamline traffic flow in the area.

Furthermore, the Hanoi Party Committee has directed strict measures against any individuals or groups found violating regulations related to the management of student meals, ensuring that the quality and safety of food provided in schools meet the city's standards.
