First Social Housing Project Launched in Cao Bang

On August 27, 2026, the People's Committee of Cao Bang province, in collaboration with relevant agencies, inaugurated the first social housing project in the area at the new urban area of De Tham, Thuc Phan ward. This significant development aims to address the housing needs of low-income individuals, civil servants, military personnel, and workers in the region.

The Golden Square Cao Bang project, developed by Dong A Golden Square Joint Stock Company, a member of Alphanam Group, spans approximately 1.2 hectares. It consists of two towers with a combined height of 15 stories and a total floor area of nearly 69,700 square meters.

Upon completion, the project is expected to provide around 698 apartments, ranging from 68.9 to 76.6 square meters, with options for two to three bedrooms. This initiative is part of a larger plan to develop approximately 1,500 social housing units in Cao Bang from 2026 to 2030.

The project will also include essential infrastructure such as internal traffic systems, water supply and drainage, electricity, green spaces, parking lots, and community amenities. The construction is projected to commence in the third quarter of 2026 and conclude by the second quarter of 2028.

In addition to this project, Cao Bang has approved the development of seven other social housing sites covering a total area of about 13.34 hectares in Thuc Phan and Nung Tri Cao wards. The province is actively working on completing the necessary procedures for planning, land use, infrastructure, and site clearance to facilitate the implementation of more social housing projects in the near future.
