The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Phạm Gia Túc, who emphasized the importance of the project in fulfilling the dream of homeownership for many citizens. The project encompasses the construction of social housing and rental units, with a total of around 7,840 housing units planned. These developments are intended to support workers in the nearby industrial zones and contribute to the local economy.
Nguyễn Mạnh Quyền, Chairman of the Hưng Yên Provincial People's Committee, highlighted the province's goal of completing over 6,000 social housing units by 2026 and an ambitious total of 56,000 units by 2030. This aligns with the national strategy to enhance housing accessibility for low-income populations.
The housing project at the Liên Hà Thái Industrial Park includes the construction of seven nine-story buildings with approximately 1,700 social housing units, alongside three six-story rental buildings. The rental project in Phố Hiến will feature 5,500 units in a modern living environment, ensuring high-quality standards and amenities.
Vingroup's commitment to this project reflects its dedication to improving living conditions for workers and contributing to the development of a modern, sustainable community. The company aims to create a well-equipped infrastructure, including schools, healthcare facilities, and recreational areas, to foster a vibrant living environment.
Furthermore, Vingroup has also announced plans to develop 4,500 rental apartments in Bà Điểm, Ho Chi Minh City, further demonstrating its commitment to addressing housing shortages in urban areas. The company is focused on delivering quality housing solutions that meet the needs of the workforce while adhering to environmental standards.
This housing initiative is part of a broader governmental strategy to review land use and improve housing planning in conjunction with essential social services, ultimately aiming to enhance the quality of life for residents across Vietnam.
