The social housing project developed by Trần Đình Long's Hòa Phát Group in Hưng Yên has seen a remarkable response during its initial application phase. According to reports, around 80-90% of the applicants have income levels that qualify them for the housing scheme, which primarily targets workers and employees in nearby industrial zones.

The project, located in Yên Mỹ, spans 31 hectares with an investment of nearly 5 trillion VND. It is strategically positioned near major transportation routes, making it easily accessible to key industrial areas and the centers of Hà Nội and Hưng Yên province. The development aims to create a closed urban area featuring 25 apartment buildings, offering approximately 9,000 social housing units along with 242 low-rise commercial properties.

As the project begins to accept applications, the sales office has reported a high volume of inquiries from potential buyers, reflecting a strong demand for affordable housing in the region. The first phase of the project will provide 842 apartments, with sizes ranging from 34.9 m² to 77 m², and the registration period for applications will run until September 14, 2026.

Trần Đình Long, the chairman of Hòa Phát Group, noted that while real estate constitutes a small part of the company's overall business (around 5-7%), the social housing segment shows stable growth and positive prospects. The group is committed to expanding its focus on social housing, recognizing its importance in meeting the needs of the community, even if the profit margins are lower compared to other sectors.

The project not only aims to provide affordable housing but also includes modern infrastructure and amenities such as schools, hospitals, parks, and sports facilities, ensuring a comprehensive living environment for residents. If successful, Hòa Phát plans to replicate this model in other suitable locations across the country.
