Hanoi's Department of Construction has made public the statistics for August 2026 regarding social housing and student accommodations managed by the city's Housing Management Center. This transparency initiative is designed to help residents find suitable housing options.

In the social housing area of CT19A Viet Hung, there are a total of 515 apartments designed, with 513 currently rented out, leaving only 2 vacant units. Meanwhile, the student housing complex in My Dinh II has a capacity of 7,368 beds, of which 4,279 are currently rented, leaving 3,089 available.

Additionally, the student housing complex in Phap Van - Tu Hiep is designed for 5,520 beds, with 2,808 currently occupied and 2,712 still available. Notably, the data for the Phap Van - Tu Hiep complex does not include Building A1 and 156 apartments in Building A5, which are currently designated for temporary housing related to urban development projects.

The Hanoi Department of Construction stated that the Housing Management Center received Building A1 from the local government on January 20, 2026, to serve as temporary housing for residents displaced by investment projects. The center is currently working on renovations for this building.
