Cao Ngọc Sáng, a 36-year-old social media figure popularly known as 'Sáng Con', has been arrested in Hanoi on charges of illegal drug possession. On September 7, the Drug Crime Investigation Department announced that they had collaborated with local authorities to apprehend Sáng and five accomplices for various drug-related offenses.

The group is accused of illegally possessing narcotics, organizing the illegal use of drugs, and failing to report criminal activities. Following their arrest, all six individuals have been charged by the Hanoi Police for further investigation.

Sáng Con, originally from Thanh Hóa, has gained significant popularity on social media, boasting around 200,000 followers on Facebook and 40,000 on TikTok. He is known for his distinctive appearance, often featuring tattoos, and for creating short videos that discuss themes of brotherhood and street life, while also offering lifestyle advice.

Authorities have not yet disclosed specific details about the violations committed by Sáng Con but have indicated that the investigation is ongoing and may expand further.
