On the afternoon of August 20, a car suddenly burst into flames while traveling on the Nguyen Van Linh overpass in Hai Phong City. The vehicle, with license plate number 15A-001.95, was heading from Lach Tray Bridge towards Hanoi when the fire broke out.

The flames quickly engulfed the entire car, producing a thick column of black smoke and several small explosions. Fortunately, the driver noticed the fire in time, stopped the vehicle, and safely exited before the situation worsened.

Emergency services were alerted and promptly dispatched personnel and equipment to the scene to extinguish the fire and manage traffic in the area to ensure safety. Within approximately 20 minutes, the fire was brought under control and completely extinguished.

While there were no injuries reported, the car was completely destroyed, leaving only the charred frame behind due to the intense heat. The incident also caused significant traffic congestion on the Nguyen Van Linh overpass. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
