A significant fire erupted in a warehouse located in Bình Hưng, Ho Chi Minh City, on July 25, leading to the closure of a section of Nguyễn Văn Linh street to facilitate firefighting operations.

According to initial reports, the fire was first noticed around 4 PM when residents observed smoke emanating from the warehouse near the intersection of Nguyễn Văn Linh and Phạm Hùng streets. Despite efforts by locals to extinguish the flames, they were unsuccessful.

Upon receiving the alarm, the Ho Chi Minh City Fire Prevention and Rescue Police dispatched nearly a dozen fire trucks along with numerous officers and firefighters to the scene. Given the size of the warehouse and its proximity to residential buildings, urgent measures were taken to control the fire and prevent it from spreading.

As the fire broke out during peak afternoon hours, traffic congestion ensued, and authorities worked diligently to manage the flow of vehicles in the area. By 5 PM, smoke was still billowing from within the warehouse, and firefighting crews continued to spray water to extinguish the flames.

Residents reported that the affected area contained various storage facilities. Investigations into the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently ongoing.
