Billionaire Phạm Nhật Vượng is making headlines with his latest project: a 108-story tower that will stand as the tallest sea reclamation building globally. This monumental structure is part of the Vinhomes Green Paradise, a massive urban development project in Cần Giờ, Vietnam, with a total investment of approximately $10 billion.
The Vinhomes Green Paradise project spans nearly 2,900 hectares and is located a few kilometers off the coast. Construction began on April 19, 2025, and the tower is designed to reach a height of around 550 meters, surpassing the current tallest building in Vietnam, Landmark 81, which stands at 461.5 meters in Ho Chi Minh City.
As of mid-July 2026, more than 76% of the land reclamation work for Vinhomes Green Paradise has been completed. The area designated for the 108-story tower is part of a larger development that includes commercial centers, financial services, offices, and a seaport. The tower's construction site is currently being prepared, with significant progress in land leveling and infrastructure development.
The entire urban area is designed to feature a wide range of amenities, including shopping centers, hotels, recreational facilities, and extensive green spaces. The roads and internal infrastructure are also taking shape, with the Đại Lộ Thời Đại road, which is 120 meters wide and approximately 8 kilometers long, nearing completion.
Once completed, the tower will not only be a significant architectural feat but also a symbol of Vietnam's rapid urbanization and development. It is expected to rank among the top ten tallest buildings in the world, showcasing the country's ambitions on the global stage.
