Today, August 5, marks the 58th birthday of billionaire Phạm Nhật Vượng, chairman of Vingroup, and it coincides with a major milestone for the company. Vinhomes Green Paradise in Cần Giờ has officially received a temporary ISO 37122 certification from the World Council on City Data (WCCD) for its smart city initiatives. This recognition underscores Vinhomes' commitment to developing sustainable urban environments in line with global standards.
The WCCD's certification acknowledges Vinhomes Green Paradise's significant progress in smart city development, including advancements in design, planning, and development orientation. This achievement is a crucial step towards obtaining full certification once the project becomes operational.
Vinhomes Green Paradise covers an area of approximately 2,870 hectares, including over 1,357 hectares of reclaimed land. The project is designed to feature the longest coastline in Vietnam, with a total length of 121 kilometers, including 53 kilometers of public beaches. Upon completion, it aims to be a leading eco-tech urban area, integrating smart operational technologies and green energy.
With a total investment of $10 billion, the mega project will include a 108-story tower, the Blue Waves Theatre, a golf course, an entertainment area spanning 122 hectares with an open zoo, and a five-star international port. Notably, it will also introduce a premium retirement community model, Vin New Horizon, marking a first in Vietnam.
Phạm Nhật Vượng has invested significantly in this venture, contributing a total of 43.8 trillion VND to its development. The project is now a candidate in the New7Wonders campaign for the "7 Wonders of Future Urbanization," highlighting its potential impact on urban development in the region.
