Deputy Minister Hoang Trung Expelled from Party
Hoang Trung, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment, has been expelled from the Communist Party

The Central Inspection Commission of Vietnam has proposed disciplinary measures against Trần Quý Kiên, the former Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Nguyễn Thị Gái, the former General Director of Đồng Nai Rubber Corporation. This recommendation comes after the Commission's 11th meeting on August 14, led by its Chairman Trần Sỹ Thanh, where they reviewed reports concerning violations by party members within the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Đồng Nai province.
According to the Commission's findings, both Trần Quý Kiên and Nguyễn Thị Gái exhibited a decline in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle. They were found to have breached party regulations and state laws while performing their official duties. Their actions were deemed to have serious consequences, adversely affecting the reputation of the party organization and the agencies they were associated with, warranting disciplinary action.
The Central Inspection Commission has urged the relevant authorities to consider and implement disciplinary measures against Trần Quý Kiên and Nguyễn Thị Gái. During this meeting, the Commission also reviewed the results of monitoring the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, as well as the Southern Food Corporation's Party Committee. They noted that, despite some achievements, there were still violations and shortcomings that needed to be addressed.
The Commission has called on the leadership of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, along with the Southern Food Corporation's Party Committee, to capitalize on their strengths, promptly conduct self-assessments, and seriously learn from their experiences. They are required to develop specific plans to rectify the identified violations and report the results back to the Central Inspection Commission.
