The People's Security Academy, along with seven other police academies, has officially announced the admission scores for the year 2026. The scores range from 17.14 to 24.42, with the highest score being applicable to female candidates from Northern Vietnam who are applying for police-related fields at the People's Police Academy.
On August 13, 2026, the police academies disclosed their admission scores. Notably, several academies, including the People's Security Academy and the People's Police Academy, reported scores exceeding 24. The lowest score recorded was 17.14, which is designated for male candidates applying to the Academy of Security Technology and Engineering, specifically for the medical training program at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, National University of Hanoi.
The admission scores are calculated based on a combination of results from the Ministry of Public Security's evaluation exam and high school graduation exam scores. The formula for calculating the admission score is as follows: Admission Score = (Total score from three high school graduation exam subjects * 2/5) + (Score from the evaluation exam * 3/5) + (Priority points and bonus points).
Here are the detailed admission scores for the police academies in 2026:
This year, the eight police academies are recruiting 2,070 students, a decrease of approximately 280 compared to last year. The admissions process utilizes three methods: direct admission, combined evaluation of international language certificates with the Ministry of Public Security's evaluation exam results, and assessment of high school graduation exam scores alongside evaluation exam scores. Last year, the admission scores for police academies ranged from 15.95 to 26.28 out of 30 based on the combined evaluation method.
