Hanoi Enhances Social Security Account Integration on VNeID

Hanoi is making significant strides in integrating social security benefit accounts into the VNeID application, with a target of achieving full integration by 2026. The Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Truong Viet Dung, has signed a document outlining the city's commitment to this initiative.

The Hanoi People's Committee has mandated that all departments, agencies, and local authorities disseminate information about the integration of social security accounts into VNeID. This effort aims to ensure that 100% of officials, civil servants, and workers are aware of and participate in the integration process.

Local authorities are encouraged to launch campaigns to promote and guide the integration of social security accounts through the VNeID application among all organizations, businesses, and residents. The goal is to achieve a complete integration rate by 2026.

Additionally, the city government has directed departments and organizations to collaborate with local police to identify citizens who have electronic identification accounts but have not registered for social security benefits. They are also tasked with working alongside banks and relevant agencies to facilitate and support citizens in opening and integrating their accounts on the VNeID application, particularly those eligible for monthly social security payments.

The Hanoi police are instructed to enhance the collection of electronic identification accounts and to educate residents on how to install, activate, and integrate their social security accounts on the VNeID application to ensure timely progress. The city will continue to seek solutions to improve the effectiveness of this initiative.

Registering for social security accounts on VNeID not only allows citizens to proactively monitor their social security benefits but also helps prevent potential fraud risks.
