Experts advise tourists to avoid areas near streams, low-lying areas, and slopes that may be prone to landslides during heavy rainfall. Residents and visitors should also check traffic conditions before heading out and follow weather forecasts to ensure safety.

From the afternoon of August 7, heavy rain in the northern region, Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An is expected to gradually decrease. However, the risk of flooding in low-lying areas, flash floods in small rivers, and landslides in mountainous regions remains high after several days of continuous rain. The disaster risk level due to heavy rain, thunderstorms, and hail is maintained at level 1.
