After a period of individual training, the 1993-born goalkeeper rejoined the team for regular practice, bringing positive energy ahead of the upcoming match. Alongside Van Lam, midfielder Nguyen Tai Loc also returned to training after recovering from his own injury.

With both players back in the lineup, Coach Kim Sang Sik has more options to consider as he strategizes for the important encounter against Singapore. If there are no further injuries in the coming days, the Vietnam team is expected to have a nearly full squad available for the match.

During the training session, a humorous moment arose when forward Nguyen Dinh Bac, while practicing in the pleasant weather, was caught off guard by a sudden burst of sunlight, eliciting a funny reaction. The positive atmosphere of the Vietnam team was further emphasized by the presence of several Singaporean journalists, including David Lee from The Straits Times, who has been covering Singaporean football since 2009 and has co-authored two sports books.
