Hoàng Văn Khánh Arrested for Drug Trafficking
On June 23, police in Nghe An province arrested 64-year-old Hoàng Văn Khánh for illegal drug trafficking.

In a significant law enforcement operation, the Xuân Mai Police in Hanoi successfully arrested a notorious fugitive wanted for serious drug-related crimes. The operation took place on July 10, 2026, around 10:30 PM, during a routine residency check at a boarding house in Tân Xuân village.
During the inspection, officers encountered a woman who was unable to present any identification. Upon further questioning, she identified herself as Lê Thị Kim Chi, born on May 15, 2005, and listed her permanent residence as Ea Súp in Đắk Lắk province.
Following this revelation, the Xuân Mai Police promptly verified her identity with the Ea Súp Police and cross-referenced national databases. They confirmed that Lê Thị Kim Chi was indeed the individual wanted by the Ho Chi Minh City Police since December 27, 2024, for her involvement in illegal drug trafficking activities.
The Xuân Mai Police are now in the process of completing the necessary documentation and coordinating with the Drug Crime Investigation Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Police to ensure that the suspect is processed according to legal protocols.
