The Economic Police of Hung Yen province have successfully captured Dang Ngoc Hao, a fugitive wanted for his involvement in receiving stolen property. Hao, born on November 4, 1996, had been evading law enforcement since a warrant was issued against him on April 24, 2026.

According to the police report, Dang Ngoc Hao was wanted under Decision No. A1603/QĐTN-VPCQCSĐT for violating Article 323 of the 2015 Penal Code, which pertains to the crime of receiving property obtained through criminal means. After confirming his whereabouts, the Economic Police conducted the arrest at approximately 8:00 PM on June 18, 2026, while Hao was moving through Nguyen Van Linh Square in Hung Yen province.

Following the legal procedures, the Economic Police handed Hao over to the Investigative Police Office of Hung Yen province for further investigation and legal processing. This successful operation highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat crime and ensure public safety.
